Summary

TenantPad does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. Everything stays on your device.

What data the app stores

TenantPad stores the following data locally on your device:

  • Properties, units and tenant details you enter
  • Maintenance requests, notes and photos
  • Contractor details
  • App settings and preferences

This data is never sent to any server. It exists only on your device (or in backups you create manually).

What data we collect

None. Specifically:

  • No account or sign-up is required
  • No personal information is transmitted to us or any third party
  • No usage analytics are collected by default
  • No advertising identifiers are used
  • No cookies or tracking pixels are used

Optional analytics

TenantPad includes an optional, off-by-default analytics toggle (using TelemetryDeck and Sentry) for crash reporting and anonymous usage statistics. This can be enabled or disabled at any time in Settings. When disabled, no data of any kind leaves your device.

When enabled, only anonymous, non-identifying technical data is sent (e.g. crash logs, screen dimensions). No personal data, property details, tenant information or request content is ever included.

Third-party services

When analytics is disabled (the default), TenantPad connects to no third-party services. The app works entirely offline.

Backups

When you create a backup, a .tenantpad file is generated on your device. This file contains your data and optionally your photos. You control where this file is saved and shared — TenantPad does not upload it anywhere.

Data deletion

You can delete all app data at any time by:

  • Removing individual properties, units, tenants or requests within the app
  • Using the GDPR anonymisation feature to redact tenant personal details
  • Uninstalling the app (removes all local data)

Children’s privacy

TenantPad is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a new “Last updated” date.
