Summary
TenantPad — Inspection does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. Everything stays on your device.
What data the app stores
TenantPad stores the following data locally on your device:
- Properties, units and tenant contact details you enter
- Inspection records, checklist results, photos and signatures
- Inspector details and certificate references
- App settings and preferences
This data is never sent to any server. It exists only on your device (or in backups you create manually).
Backups
When you create a backup, the app generates a .tenantpad file containing your data (and optionally photos). This file is stored locally and shared only when you explicitly choose to share it via the iOS share sheet. We have no access to your backup files.
No analytics, no tracking
TenantPad does not include any analytics, crash reporting, or telemetry services. No data is collected, transmitted, or shared with any third party. No advertising identifiers (IDFA) are used.
Data deletion
To delete all your data, simply delete the app from your device. All data is stored locally and is removed when the app is uninstalled.
To delete specific records, use the Archive or Delete features within the app.
Children’s privacy
TenantPad is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.
GDPR
As TenantPad does not collect or process personal data on any server, GDPR data subject requests (access, deletion, portability) are handled locally on your device. You have full control over your data at all times.
