How does TaleFlip work?
Tap “Flip!” to generate three random words: a character, an object, and a setting. Use these as the seeds for a bedtime story you tell in your own voice. Tap any card to re-roll just that word.
What is “Story Told!”?
After you’ve told a story using the prompted words, tap “Story Told!” to count it. TaleFlip tracks how many stories you’ve told today, your consecutive-day streak, and your all-time total.
How do favourites work?
Tap the heart icon below the cards to save a word combination. You can store up to 50 favourites. Open the heart menu in the header to view, load, or delete saved combos.
How do I change themes or appearance?
Tap the settings icon in the top-right corner. Choose one of the four themes (Midnight, Stardust, Coral, Woodland) and switch between light, dark, or system appearance.
Can I turn off haptics?
Yes. In Settings, toggle the Haptics switch off to disable vibration feedback.
Where is my data stored?
All data — story counts, streaks, favourites, and preferences — is stored on your device using local storage. The app does not sync to the cloud or send data over the network.
How do I reset everything?
In Settings, tap Reset All Data. You’ll be asked to confirm twice before all data is cleared. You can also uninstall the app to remove its data from your device.
