All data created by the app — your progress, journal entries, and settings — is stored locally on your device. Nothing is transmitted to any server.

Third-Party Services
Nearness does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or analytics tools. The only external service involved is the App Store / Google Play Store for the initial purchase.

We do not share any data with anyone, for any purpose. There is no data to share.
Internet Connection
Nearness does not require an internet connection to function. The app works entirely offline.
Data Deletion
You can delete all your data at any time from the Settings screen within the app. Uninstalling the app will also remove all data.
Children’s Privacy
Nearness is designed for adults in romantic relationships. The app does not collect any data from users of any age.
Relationship Education Disclaimer
Nearness is a relationship education app. It is not therapy and does not replace professional counselling. The content is designed to encourage healthy relationship habits and self-reflection. If your relationship involves abuse or serious crisis, please seek qualified professional help.
