How do I add children?
Open the app’s settings or profile area (where children are managed), then add each child and set their age or birth year so prompts stay appropriate. Names and ages are stored only on your device.
How do sparks work?
Each time you tap the main action, LessonSpark picks an age-appropriate learning prompt from its catalogue. Daily spark counts and your streak reward regular use; category exploration tracks which subject areas you’ve dipped into—everything stays local and offline.
How do I change themes or light/dark mode?
Open Settings (or Appearance) in the app. Choose one of the four themes and switch between light and dark mode to match your room or preference.
Where is my data stored?
All profile and progress data—including children’s details and gamification stats—is stored on your device using local storage (SQLite). The app does not sync to the cloud or send data over the network.
How do I reset everything?
In Settings, use Reset All Data to clear local information. You can also uninstall the app to remove its data from your device.
What ages are supported?
LessonSpark supports children from 0 through 16 years. Prompts are drawn to match the ages you set for each child.
