Overview

LearnLog is designed with privacy at its core. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data. Everything you enter into the app stays on your device.

Data storage

All data — including children’s profiles, activity logs, photos, and settings — is stored locally on your device using on-device storage. No data is sent to any server, cloud service, or third party.

Data collection

LearnLog does not collect:

  • Personal information
  • Usage analytics or telemetry
  • Location data
  • Device identifiers
  • Crash reports
  • Any form of tracking data

Third-party services

LearnLog does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. There are no SDKs that transmit data off your device.

Photos

LearnLog requests access to your camera and photo library solely to let you attach photos to learning activities. Photos are stored on your device alongside activity records. They are never uploaded or shared with anyone.

Data export

You can export all your data as a JSON file at any time from the Settings screen. This file is created on your device and shared only when you choose to do so (for example, saving to Files or sending via email). You can also import a previously exported backup to restore your data.

PDF reports

PDF evidence reports are generated entirely on your device. They are not uploaded to any server. You control how and with whom you share them.

Data deletion

You can delete all data at any time from Settings. Uninstalling the app also removes all stored data permanently, as nothing is backed up to any server.

Children’s privacy

LearnLog stores children’s names and year groups on-device only, as entered by the parent or guardian. This information never leaves the device. LearnLog is intended for use by parents and guardians, not directly by children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy is updated, the changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Since LearnLog does not collect any data, changes are unlikely but will always maintain the same commitment to privacy.
