Getting Started

How do I use DadBond?

Tap “Generate an Activity” and the app picks a random activity from over 10,000 options. You will see the activity details including category, duration, and energy level. Two option buttons appear below the activity — tap one to refine and get a new activity that fits your situation.

What are the option buttons?

After each activity, DadBond shows two contextual options based on the activity it picked. For example, if it picked an outdoor activity, you might see “I’d rather stay inside.” If it needs multiple kids, you might see “I only have 1 child.” Tap an option and DadBond generates a new activity matching your preference.

How do I filter activities?

Pull the compass icon on the home screen to reveal the filter screen. You can filter by category, energy level, indoor/outdoor, messiness, and equipment needs. You can also use the quick filter chips on the home screen for instant one-tap filtering.

How many activities are there?

Over 10,000 hand-picked activities across 20 categories. All stored locally on your device.

Can I filter by category?

Yes. Pull the compass to open the filter screen where you can select specific categories, energy levels, indoor/outdoor, messiness, and equipment requirements. The option buttons below each activity also let you refine on the fly.

Can I see my activity history?

Yes. Tap the history button on the filter screen to see your recently viewed activities. DadBond saves your last 200 activities across sessions so you never lose a great idea.

Will I see the same activity twice?

DadBond tracks recently shown activities and tries to avoid repeats. With 10,000+ activities, you will rarely see the same one twice.

Privacy & Data

Does this app collect my data?

No. DadBond collects absolutely no data. Everything is stored locally on your device.

Does this app need the internet?

No. DadBond works completely offline. All 10,000+ activities are stored on your device.

How do I delete my data?

Uninstalling the app removes all data, including the local activity database.

Troubleshooting

The app is showing a loading screen for a long time

On first launch, DadBond sets up its local database of 10,000+ activities. This can take a few seconds. Subsequent launches will be instant.

The app is not loading correctly

Try closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling.
